Getting out of your own way…  

This is perhaps to date one of the most amusing experiences I have had between my guides and myself. At the risk of looking a complete idiot (Chuckle), (they loved that one) I am going to share this experience with you here.

 The funny thing is, when you have read it, you might find yourself thinking… OOPS! Maybe I should join the club. Haha…

 Well, here goes then. Those of you who have followed my writings will know exactly what I mean when I talk about the gift I received “The 7 Steps to manifesting your hearts desires?”  Those who haven’t? To enjoy this sharing to it’s fullest, you might want to go read it now!

 Kinda wordy back then wasn’t I. (chuckle) By back then I am referring to a time about 6 to 9 months ago. Wow! When you think about it is not all that long ago and look where we are now. WOW!

 After about a period of lets say three months or so I started to ask them why things were not manifesting as I would perhaps have liked them too. In this period all I got was: “Take action!”
Boy! Was that a slap in the face. Here was me working my ass off doing all I could to make a difference to the collective consciousness. I couldn’t figure it out and my OPOM’s were not forthcoming with anything else so I just had to get on with things and try find out for myself.

 After a period of about six months I went back to them again with the same question. “OK OPOM’s now I demand to know what it is I am not doing right here?” This, by following your own instructions should have worked by now, or at the very least a whole bunch of synchronicities leading somewhere. Even those stopped after about a week or two.

The answer I got was exactly the same as before, so this time I asked for more clarity. “All I got was! You are getting in your own way!” Boy oh boy, I couldn’t have been more miffed. (chuckle)
The funny thing was there was a thought that had been entering my mind for a while now and it was:
”Get your passport fixed Ian” So I figured oh what the heck, I will ask them if that was it.
All I got was a resounding chuckle. To which I of course replied! “Now wait a minute here! Get me the appointments and I will get the passport fixed”. To which I received another resounding chuckle.

Hrummpphhh… (That was my statement of indignation.)

 The silly thing is, my wife and I needed our passports for something else. So in the beginning of December 2004 we decided to get them updated. About a week before then end of the year, we got them back again all neatly completed and ready for travel for another ten years.

 To Mary Pat’s and my own utter amazement about a day later we received a request to participate in a sharing session around the Indigo film by James Twyman. What followed was even more mind blowing.

As I am writing this, we are now just two short weeks further. We have already received in total 6 different invitations including one to be set up by ourselves.  My lesson learned in all of this has to be the following:

By first self taking action, you are putting a message out to the universe that you are ready. Your guides and all your assistants then kick into full speed ahead gear and magical things start to happen around you. Manifestations and synchronicities of all kinds start to become a part of your reality, no longer being simply fantasy or wishful thinking.

 It really is about co-creating. You take action, then your OPOM’s get the ball rolling and things start to happen. It may well be that you at some point are required to take some more action, after which your OPOM’s get to work again.  We are in this stage right now. We are creating up to date manuals, making a daily schedule of what we wish to share with our participants, all of which is very exciting and we are in a state of pure BLISS as Mary Pat and I create these things together. Perhaps also with a little piece of us just wondering, anticipating, that as we reach completion of the necessary tasks what kind of magic will then start to flow. Something inside me is telling me that we are in for a very busy year. (chuckle)

 Isn’t it amazing how just a tiny little piece of action can all of a sudden make such a huge difference in our journeys. It really is true! Once we get out of the way of blocking ourselves, we do get ON THE WAY.

(chuckle) There is a part of me that is saying: “I do sincerely hope so”. Because!!!! Well you have seen and can follow our (and your) potential results.

PS: A final note about the passport. When I did receive it back, I opened it and was a little surprised at the face that was looking back at me. One thing that popped into my mind immediately was! No matter where in the world I travel, this passport is going to brighten some checkpoint assistants day by giving them a great chuckle.
